A modern but classic house, retaining all of the original features including the magnificent pine balustrade, but with the modern twists of hardwood flooring and contemporary furnishings. This is a beautiful house with stunning views of the beach and park from both the ground floor dining room and first floor lounge, with side-on views from the bedrooms and terrace area.
Ground floor
There is a large, fully fitted kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, washer/drier. The door leads out directly onto the patio area, which has a hardwood table/ chairs. The study area has a comfy sofa and book case (with books!) as a quiet reading space. An antique pine desk and chair is provided in the Vestibule, along with a bench and wardrobe for coats and the front door to the property. A broadband wi-fi connection is available for your personal use. There are full toilet facilities on the ground floor and access to the cellar. We also have a grand dining room with a very large table, a gas/ coal fire in an antique surround and beautiful sea and coastal views towards Brixham.
First floor
There is a twin and a king- size bedroom on the first floor, with a full bathroom and over- bath thermostatic shower. The king bedroom is equipped with a combination LCD/DVD TV. Also on the first floor is the large living room with magnificent views of the Goodrington beach area and the sea/ coastline beyond, complete with a period living flame gas/ coal fire and dimmable lighting. The lounge has two oversized sofas and a window chair, providing comfortable seating for 9 adults. On the entertainment side there is a plasma TV, Sky HD with Movies and Sport, a 5.1 Home Cinema system and a PS3/ Blu ray player with two plenty of films available for your use and a few older Playstation games.
Second floor
The second floor has the Master bedroom, with it’s ornate carved furniture, a king-size bed, and a combined LCD/DVD TV. The fourth bedroom has a triple bunk and has views of the beach and sea. A fifth loft bedroom has a double bed with Velux window. There is a full bathroom on this floor with over-bath thermostatic shower. Located on the second floor landing is a bookcase containing many hardback books and in the drawers, some traditional board games.
All bedrooms have high quality mattresses, pillows, and bedding.
Outside there is a terrace with dimmable lighting, with hardwood furnishings and stunning views. There is also an allocated parking space.
There is a no smoking policy in operation for anywhere in this property.
